ABOUT THE CUSTOMER

FUNCTIONS
Lead and manage purchasing processes (tenders or quotations) in coordination with the relevant departments.
Identify and onboard new suppliers, and conduct active negotiations according to the requirements of the involved areas.
Prepare Purchase Orders (POs).
Generate POs for company-wide purchases, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Resolve tickets related to Supplier Management processes.
Understand, comply with, and serve as a reference for the company’s purchasing policy.
Drive continuous improvement projects within the department.
Monitor contracts with awarded suppliers and prepare reports and management information requested by the direct supervisor.
Promote the purchase of goods and supplies, and coordinate the selection and evaluation of suppliers that impact the Environmental Management System (EMS).
Ensure compliance and participate in the analysis of environmental aspects and impacts, operational environmental controls, and report any incidents or environmental conditions considered a risk.
Perform other duties assigned by the direct supervisor, related to the objectives of the position.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
2 to 4 years of experience performing similar functions.
Knowledge of purchasing and negotiation processes.
Strategic negotiation and effective communication skills.
SAP knowledge (user level).
Intermediate-level Excel skills.
